8 February 2008 - New Data Protection Law in Lithuania. As of 1 February 2008 the new Lithuanian Data Protection Law (new wording of the law) was adopted.
The Law in troduces novel regulation for video surveillance, credit-worthiness evaluation (credit bureaus), direct marketing, use of personal id codes, as well as automatic processing of health related personal data. |
