18 January 2008 - E-voting over the Internet. The Seimas (Parliament of Lithuania) has refused to enact the legislative package enabling e-voting over the internet in Lithuania. Proponents of the legislation have been advocating the use of e-voting over the internet for the upcoming parliamentary elections in Fall 2008.
